No Trick: A Treat!

Hi everyone! This Halloween I'm a zombie rising from the dead, Frankenstein's monster being brought to life, or a sexy vampire who wants to suck all of your...well, it's not blood ;) Anyways, I came online for the first time in a while a week ago and noticed all the wonderful Halloween caps produced by a variety of people in the community. Although I will not be producing any captions of my own, I've decided that I will be getting into the spirit of everybody's favorite TG holiday by holding a caption contest over on Ariel's site! More details over there, but if there is enough participation I might consider running contests every once in a while.

Happy Halloween!

Finale - Elena's Encyclopedia of TG Bimbos

Hello everyone! After a long period of time, I have finally "completed" the final project that I will produce for this blog. I use air quotes because this was a series that could have been endless, but I decided to stop once I realized that I was struggling to come up with anything interesting. With regards to the project, there were a few things I wanted to accomplish to kind of reflect my time as a captioner:
  • Make something longer for you all. I think that some of my best work, both on this blog and on my sister blogs, have come in longer series. Not only did I want to represent this fact but a longer set of caps would leave you all with a something more enjoyable because of the length.
  • Make something inspirational or reproduceable. Now I'm not going to be egotistical and claim that this is a great piece that would/could inspire spin-offs or additions, but I do think the format lends itself to being reused by other interested people. I've always tried to spread the love in the TG community, or at least my corner of it, through contests and other things and I hope that people will continue to do that in some form when I'm gone.
  • Make something with a creative layout. This actually relates to something I wish I did better. People like Wes Mantooth, Nikki Jenkins, or Samantha deSavory have lovely looking caps to go with their awesome stories, which I can't claim to have in most of my caps. This series does have a fun look, with the layout mirroring a book with a fun border.
  • Make something that honors my personal favorite caption type: bimbos. It's a simple thing, but it's something I've done for a long time and to some degree of success. I've produced the extremely long How to Become a Blonde Bimbo 101 series, the Bimbo High series on Serena's sister site, and of course plenty of singleton bimbo caps that I'm quite proud of. I don't know if "bimbo caps" are what people associated with me or not, but it's definitely the staple of the blog in my mind.
So in the end, this is what I produced! It's an encyclopedia of TG Bimbos, complete with Latin classifications (Latin grammar is rough but generally accurate), details on habitat and characteristics, plus little stories about a "real" case for each bimbo. I really hope you all enjoy it - all of the viewers, captioners, and friends I've interacted with these past 5 years has made this site truly special to me. I hope that I've been able to do something special for you in at least one of the 1000+ captions I've done and wish you the best in my absence.

Love always,
Elena Starz

Plug and News on Finale

Hi all! Wanted to take a moment to mention that Anderson, someone who produced excellent caps in many of my caption contests, is hosting a caption contest of his own on his site. The theme is Schoolboys/bois and has some really great images, so if you've got an itch to caption/see some fun captions head on over there now or when the submissions are posted!

Also, in my last post I've mentioned that I wanted to post one more final cap on this blog before I give it up for good - I've now decided what I want to do! I won't give any spoilers because I don't know how long it might be before I complete it, but I hope it'll be one last piece for you all to enjoy.

Best,
Elena Starz

Final* Caps - Workshop Pieces

Hi everyone! Didn't mean to scare you by talking about a penultimate cap and then not posting the next day, but I wasn't quite happy with what I had planned. I have two caps scheduled today, both of which I never posted because I needed to make major edits that I had not completed. I was going to post them yesterday but realized that it would be a terrible sending off. I haven't figured out exactly what I plan on doing but expect at least something more from me soon. Also, keep checking in on my other sites - I have Idea Archives to post for each sister blog (or in Ariel's case, Idea Archives from this main site).

This first cap was based on the idea of a quinceanera, but I realized that I botched the spelling completely throughout the piece. Hope you can overlook this error!
This second cap is missing a final line, which I have no recollection of and no space to add below. What would you imagine the last part being?

Friend's Birthday Party

Today is the third and final cap I have based on a TG story, and also marks the penultimate day before I run out of caps! This cap was created thanks to a wonderful image and an even better story called Best Friend's Birthday Party by Rosie that inspired the plot/text. Enjoy!

Laundromagic

Another cap inspired by a story, albeit a little more indirectly. The description of the clothes comes from The Panty Raid by BatmanBimbo, which itself is based off a story The Unmentionables: The Panty Raid by Po. I highly recommend checking out both stories after reading the cap!

Girls Night Out

So this cap is based of a really enjoyable story called Girls Night Out by Amber Smithe. The text is meant to mirror the plot/dialogue of the story...enjoy!

Bathroom Delays

Getting down to the end of my cap supply, but I've saved some fun caps for the end! Today we have a cap inspired by the stylistic writings of Rosie on Fictionmania, if not a specific story. Enjoy!

Postcards

Sorry for messing up and not having a post yesterday - so I've got two caps for you today! These are meant to be read as an initial message and a reply...enjoy!

P.S. I've just added three polls to Serena's site gauging whether people would like me to reveal what I had planned to do with each of my three major series. If this is something you would like to see, head over there and vote in the next three days!

Rear Ended (Plus some notes!)

Hi everyone! A little more text today because there are some things I wanted to address. First, I made a slight mistake yesterday in saying that the Duck Flu image set was up on Serena's site - I decided to postpone it slightly to try and organize the images/ideas I had in a more complete fashion. Instead, Maddi's site posted an Ideas Archive for interracial caps yesterday, and the Duck Flu stuff will hopefully be up soon!

Also, I realize that I've never said anything about the completion of The Pageant over on Wes' site! As of right now, Wes is out of commission and hasn't gotten back to me in some time due to the loss of his computer. Wes is the one who produces all the lovely formatting for the series and also holds an excellent collection of images for our models, meaning that even if I wanted to try and finish the series on my own I would be unable to. That being said, I would want to wait for Wes anyways considering his ideas and collaborative spirit is what drove this whole series in the first place. Thus, there will be no final captions unless he returns.

Anyways, that's all I've got! Here's a fun little cap based on the image - enjoy!

Finer Things in Life

The Ideas Archive for the Duck Flu Series is now up - I've included a poll in which I'll reveal spoilers for how I envisioned the plot going if people are interested, so go over and vote if you like!

Winning the Challenge

So with all the caps from Maddi's site posted, the only things appearing on any site other than this one will be my "Idea Archives". These are basically images with a small blurb under them for caption ideas I thought of but didn't actually write. I'll start posting them first on Ariel's site today, and then the others in the next few days.

Two From One

A two-cap posting using the same image. Wanted to do two similar but slightly different stories and these were the results.

Smiling Sissy

FYI I've posted something on Ariel's  site for the first time - it's pictures for an unused contest. Check that out if interested!

In My Day

This is the first of roughly 15 caps that I will post for the next few days. There is also a cap on Maddi's interracial site if you are interested in checking it out. The other blogs will soon be posting image sets relevant to their sites and I will update you of those uploads when they come.

The Beginning of the End

Hi everyone,

It is with much sadness that I am announcing my decision to stop captioning. This may not come as a huge surprise considering that I've posted two caps since mid-April, but it's a decision that's come about after repeatedly trying these last three months to produce SOMETHING and coming up with nothing. Even when I find the right image, or find a perfect idea, or perhaps both of these fall into place, I simply haven't been able to write anything to complete these caps. I recognize that in the past I have taken hiatuses of varying lengths, but even during those periods I was still producing caps behind the scenes at some rate - this time this has not been the case and is a signal to me that my time is up.

So what does this mean for the future of this blog, as well as the four other sister blogs that I have been managing? I absolutely will plan on leaving these blogs open for other people to explore and to maintain all the caps I have produced on these sites. I also do have some odds-and-ends I hope to be posting, such as the few remaining caps, images I've been hanging on to for possible caps, as well as image sets for series such as Mildew High Dress Code and the Duck Flu. Specific things to expect on each sister blog:
  • Elena (this site!): About 15 caps that either needed editing or I simply wasn't ready to post; various image galleries of images I thought of captioning but didn't end up completing; unfinished stories that I had just started (this may come in a single post as most of the stories never got past an introduction).
  • Serena's site: Image galleries containing images I planned on using for the Mildew High Dress Code, Duck Flu, and even the Bimbo High series; a collection of my favorite bimbos that I was considering using for a series
  • Hallie's site: I have left Zoey Starz the option of continuing to post caps, but that is up to her; image sets with images I thought of using for Island caps (including some small blurbs about ideas I thought would go well with the images)
  • Maddi's site: About 10 leftover caps, plus anything Anderson chooses to continue posting; more image sets and some small series ideas
  • Ariel's site: One last contest set I never posted; my personal "idea archive" with a set of images each containing a blurb to inspire a cap; any image sets not posted on Elena's site
There's not a specific posting schedule I have, although I will try to post one cap a day on sites that still have them for old time's sake. Please note that each site will have more detail as each post comes in, so please explore them all because I have A LOT of unfinished work that could perhaps be inspiring for those of you who still caption! I will also be around for at least a short amount of time to make sure I post everything if you want to leave a comment or email with questions or just say goodbye. I'm going to miss captioning more than I think I even know, and especially the wonderful people in this community, so thank you for supporting my work for as long as you have :)

Love always,
Elena Starz

The Pageant and A Cap Contest

A quick plug for those who haven't already seen it - the wonderful Wes Mantooth has started posting captions from "The Pageant", another collaboration I was involved in. It's quite a prolific undertaking, both in terms of time it took and number of captions produced, and I highly recommend checking it out here if your missing my caps.

Also, I posted a caption contest a little while ago both in hopes of making some good captions and getting me inspired to write my own. So far I've only seen two caps from one person; hope this little note redirects people who may simple have been unaware of its existence.

Hope to have an update with a cap or two within a week, so stay tuned for that!

Been a While...

Hi everyone,

It's been far too long between posts and by this point I had hoped that I would be back captioning with some regularity - but I haven't. It's no longer trauma or stress that has reduced my capacity to produce caps. It's simply a combination of writer's block and interest in other things. Sometimes I forget how much time, effort, and energy I put into captioning and maintaining the sister blogs and realize how much time is lost doing other things in my life. I'll probably try to post a little more frequently that I have been the last month or so but it'll in no way be once a day posts like I used to be able to do.

The only thing I'd ask for help with is inspiration. I'd like to see caps, TG stories, or ideas that you enjoy that might inspire some ideas of my own. Specifics are preferred (especially in regards to ideas...simply saying "hypnosis cap!" is a little too vague), but anything honestly would be appreciated. Post thoughts in the comments!

Love you all - enjoy this bimbo cap in the meantime,
Elena Starz

Something in the Water

Hi all! Been a long time since I've posted a caption, so I decided to at least try to put one out and address some details. It may still be a while until I post regularly, but I'm feeling better and hoping to cap this weekend.

First, I wanted to address the polls that have been completed for a looooong time. It seems like people like the sister sites/possibly even want more, although there were a decent number of people who prefer one site. In terms of expansion, people didn't seem to have a strong favorite out of the four options I posted, and with regards to the current sister sites I was pleasantly surprised to see how popular Maddi's interracial site was - I honestly think a lot of it has to do with frequency of posts, but still good to know.

Along those lines, I recognize that I have not been posting at all on Hallie's site and somewhat intermittently on other sites (especially since events of the past two weeks). For that reason, I think I want to explore the possibility of getting co-bloggers to run these sites. I'm looking for people who are capable of putting caps together, have interesting ideas regarding the blog they want to work on, and are willing to post once or twice a week with caps. If this sounds like something you might have even the slightest interest in, or even just want to learn more, please email me at ElenaStarz4372@gmail.com. I'll see what kind of response I get and make a decision from there.

Phew...enough talking - here's what you're really here for! A good 'ol bimbo cap!

Absence

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to stop by and let you know why I haven't been posting recently. An aunt of mine who I was quite close with passed away unexpectedly and I've been away attending the funeral. Her passing has hit me kind of hard and as such I've not really had any motivation to cap/update any of the sister sites. I'll try to pick up at least a little bit (I've finally posted the Heels and Boots Contest submissions), but my posts may be spread a little thinner until I regain an interest in captioning.

Thanks for your understanding,
Elena Starz

Bonnie Clyde

There are a lot of selfie pics hanging out in my storage folder, waiting forever for me to think of a good story for that generic pic...but this selfie pic instantly inspired an idea thanks to the unique angle and timestamp on the bottom. It was a steal for me...that led to this thievery cap! Enjoy!
